We Are Building superglass

15 July 2026·4 min read

We didn't wake up one day and decide the world needed another CRM. It doesn't.

We're building superglass because we keep running into the same problem from two different sides of the table.

Two vantage points, one recurring frustration

One of us spent years on the sales side — closing complex B2B deals, running teams, watching a good methodology get adopted with real conviction at kickoff, then quietly drift after a few quarters. Not because reps didn't believe in it. Because nobody built it into the way they actually worked day to day.

The other spent a career building software for marketing and communication teams — not CRM tools, but products where the whole job is making something complicated feel obvious. Coming from that world into sales tooling was its own small shock: how much of what passes for "good enough" here would never survive anywhere else.

Put those two frustrations side by side and the pattern is obvious. Sales methodology doesn't have a knowledge problem. It has a time problem. Reps aren't ignoring MEDDIC or SPICED because they don't understand it — plenty of frameworks are worth understanding. They're ignoring it because their day runs on quota and time pressure. Filling out CRM fields properly already eats into selling time; coming back later just to check whether a deal still matches the methodology is one more ask nobody has room for.

The two ways everyone tries to fix this

Most companies solve this one of two ways.

They hire consultants to design a sharper methodology — which the team nods along to at kickoff and quietly stops using a few quarters in, because it's one more thing bolted onto an already full day.

Or they play "data police": chasing stage updates, auditing the CRM, nagging reps until the team resents the process — and the data is still half-true anyway.

Neither closes the gap. A consultant can change the plan. They can't change what happens on a Tuesday afternoon between calls, under quota pressure. Nagging changes behavior for a week. It doesn't buy back the time a rep doesn't have.

What we think actually works

We don't think the fix is a better methodology, or more discipline. We think it's making the methodology and the work the same thing — so following it costs no extra time.

That's what we're building with superglass: Methodology Builder turns your team's real methodology into a living configuration instead of a deck. Field Notes captures what actually happened in a meeting without asking a rep to retype it. Deal Intelligence surfaces what the methodology says should happen next, inside the CRM, not next to it.

Neither of us could build this alone. It takes someone who's sat through enough deal reviews to know exactly where a methodology quietly drifts, and someone who's spent a career making complicated things usable, to build something a rep would actually want to open.

We're still early. If any of this sounds like your team, get started for free and tell us where the gap shows up for you.
